New Year Goals?
Mar. 24th, 2020 04:31 pmI know (I know) it’s three months into the year, but, I also feel like this year January took 3 years but ever since we’ve been on a speedrun towards the end of the year. So, I wanted to take a moment and say — Wow, this year is actually going pretty okay, all things considered.
Since the beginning of the year, I’ve officially declared my major as a double in psychology and social justice, I've actually taken steps to being able to communicate at least minimally in Spanish, I've been able to set up times that I can help kids with their homework (some of which have been joined by their non-mutant sibs, so go me), and I'm working on my baking so I don't have kids just politely taking my baked goods when I bring them. Last week the kids even polished off my new stores, so that's really the biggest accomplishment.Education? Don't know her.
Next semester I'm hoping to weasel my way into the ASL course, so I can start my way towards quadrilingualism. Then if all goes well, I'll stay on track towards a doctorate so I can eventually be a practicing psychologist.
What else we celebrating kids?
