I don’t really talk about home a lot but I found out last month that they’d be shutting down their last coal powered power plant and they actually did it, so I’m chuffed. Pleased. Whatever. Obviously energy has a long way to go still but makes me think a lot about that solar punk aesthetic —Yes we’ve got that new power, (thanks science people, I blow a kiss to you 😘 ) but a girl can dream.

There's been some cool work with using wastewater to generate power too, and I'm really interested in ways we can reuse that water without causing the ecological issues of large-scale dams and other water/power generators.
